How to Connect HubSpot to Writelio
Publish blog posts to HubSpot CMS with a private app token.
Connect Writelio to HubSpot and publish SEO articles to your HubSpot blog, keeping content alongside your CRM and marketing. Connection uses a HubSpot private app token with content scope.
Before you start
- A HubSpot account with CMS / blog access.
- Permission to create a private app (Super Admin).
- The content (CMS) scope enabled on the private app.

pat-).Connect HubSpot in 4 steps
In HubSpot → Settings → Integrations → Private Apps, click Create a private app, name it Writelio, and under Scopes enable the content / CMS blog scopes.
Click Create app, then copy the access token (starts with pat-).
In Integrations, open the HubSpot card → Configure, paste the Private App Token, and click Save.
In the editor, open Share & Publish → HubSpot, click Test, then Publish. The post is created in your HubSpot blog (as a draft you can review and schedule).
What gets published
Publishing to HubSpot creates a blog post with:
- Title & HTML body in your HubSpot blog.
- Meta description for search.
- Draft state — review, set the author and publish or schedule inside HubSpot.
